Took my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 in because it wouldn't shift out of 4x4. Floor shifter was not making contact. I was pretty sure it was the grommet or the rod was the problem. Issue was well beyond my capacity in terms of time and experience to fix.My time frame was not rigorous, but they did call me according to the time frame.While they had it, they also discovered the check engine light was on (which I knew going into it). I had already researched the codes, so I had an idea that it was an 02 sensor.When it came back the total charge was about $500. Aprprox $150 to fix the transmission and $350 to fix the 02 sensors.I thought the price was in a align for the work they done. Also, the shop was clean and they guys working the front desk where very professional. I'd feel comfortable sending my wife in there with an issue if I was not able to attend with her.

Excellent choice for high quality auto repairs from an independent shop. The shop is clean and organized which is always a good sign. The employees are experienced professionals. They don't push unnecessary repairs. They use good quality parts. The facility is within walking distance of the Naperville train station which is handy for Chicago commuters.

The guys at this shop were very professional. I told them what I thought was wrong with my car over the phone and asked for an estimate. They found out upon inspecting the car it wasn't as bad and fixed only what was needed. They could have taken the higher quote and repairs and didn't. It's nice to know there still are honest mechanics out there.

I've taken my car here twice in the past few months and I've had great service both times! They do a good job of explaining the repairs to you and everyone was very nice and had great customer service. I've had no recurring issues with what was repaired. It was also convenient for me as I live close by.

Always a great experience. They treat our vehicles all as though they are their very own vehicles. They don't "throw parts at it" to fix a problem... instead, they find out the actual problem and fix it. One time, I committed myself to spending $1,400 on a repair that I knew was necessary. They called me to say the car is fixed and ready (only hours after dropping it off), and they said "we've got great news for you"... Apparently, they found the problem was something different, and the repair was under $250 ! ! ! They even double-checked to make sure it completely fixed the problem... it did. I am POSITIVE that my previous auto repair shop would have charged me $1,400 and enjoyed the profits... but Naper Auto Works demonstrated the highest of integrity ! ! ! Well done... you made me aloyal customer.

I took my wife's minivan in for an oil change, and told Bill she occasionally heard a strange noise. He said they would check it out, and they spent a lot of time starting the car, driving it, and trying to find the cause. We weren't charged for any of this. It's extra effort like this that keeps me coming back.
